On our drive back to Kona, we made a stop at South Point. This windy spot on the southern tip of the island is the southernmost point in the USA, and also the farthest south I have ever been.
Near South Point: Not sure what this platform's original purpose was, but just prior to taking these pics, we watched a guy jump from this platform into the water 30 feet below.
