I first heard of this private garden located in the East Bay city of Walnut Creek a few years ago and always wanted to visit. I finally did on July 10. Here are two large agave inflorescence.

One of the reasons I chose this time to visit the garden was that they were having their "sculpture in the garden" event. This was one of my favorite sculptures. It's called "Hand Maid"
